"I’ve been taking my 3 dogs here for almost a year and couldn’t be happier with the service I’ve received. Bailey has always done a phenomenal job and can handle my dogs’ different personalities and temperaments. She can get them bathed and groomed in a timely manner and works with my work schedule, which I appreciate. I highly recommend taking your dogs here."

Our Pet Stylists In Anderson, SC

Missy Moeller, Anderson SC salon

Missy Moeller

Pet Stylist

Missy began her professional grooming career in 2012 after spending a few years at Terri’s Dog Styling. Starting at just 19, she worked as a kennel operator, receptionist, and bather before deciding to pursue grooming as a career. She graduated early from her grooming course and was immediately hired as a groomer. Missy has always had a deep love for animals, especially big dogs. As a child, she dreamed of becoming a veterinarian but found that grooming offered more creativity and fun. She can’t imagine herself in any other career.

Since completing her training, Missy has furthered her education with courses at the Chicago Expo and aspires to become a master groomer. Her favorite breed to groom is the Schnauzer, thanks to the intricate angles of their face. However, she has a soft spot for large breeds like great danes, Afghan hounds and Irish wolfhounds. At home, Missy has three dogs: Rowdy, a rottweiler; Toby (short for Toblerone), a GSP mix; and Buddy, a beagle. She also shares her space with two cats, Gibson and Chairman Meow, who love to lounge while keeping a watchful eye on the dogs. The dogs, on the other hand, enjoy hiking, fetch and tug-of-war.

Outside of grooming, Missy is a bodybuilder who spends time in her home gym. She is also a devoted mom and loves to unwind with books and all things nerdy while being entertained by her boyfriend’s dance moves. Though petite, Missy is strong and dedicated to both her family and her craft.

One thing Missy wants all her clients to know is the importance of using conditioner during dog grooming—always rinse thoroughly and then rinse again! And don’t forget that brushing your dog’s teeth is just as essential as it is for humans.

Sierra Graham, Anderson SC salon

Sierra Graham

Pet Stylist

Sierra entered the grooming industry in December 2023 after training with Missy, a groomer with over 13 years of experience. With a passion for animals, she has spent more than four years in the pet care field, previously running her own pet-sitting business and working as a retail associate in a grooming salon before joining Smoochie Pooch. She is currently pursuing a degree in Veterinary Technology.

Growing up, Sierra always aspired to be a cosmetologist, and once she began working in a grooming salon, she realized that grooming was her true calling—a perfect blend of creativity and her love for animals. She is especially passionate about building connections with the dogs she grooms, which keeps her dedicated to the field.

Her favorite breeds to groom are double-coated dogs and pit bull mixes. At home, Sierra has two dogs, Scooter, a Shih-Tzu Chihuahua mix, and Princeton, a German Spitz, along with a black cat named Leo. Leo and Princeton are both rescues, and Sierra enjoys spending her free time spoiling them with love and treats.

Sierra is committed to providing the best care for animals and plans to continue her education in veterinary medicine. She wants her clients to know that grooming can sometimes overwhelm dogs, and it requires patience and skill to ensure a positive experience. Her goal is to build a loyal clientele who trust her with their pets and confidently recommend her to others.

Chelsea Bowyer, Anderson SC salon

Chelsea Bowyer

Pet Stylist

Chelsea began grooming in 2023 and delved more deeply into the craft in 2024. Though she doesn’t hold any special certifications, she excels in performing proper animal restraint when necessary. Her goal is to become a master groomer, driven by her obsession with perfection and a strong desire to continuously learn.

Chelsea’s passion for animals began in childhood with dreams of becoming a veterinarian for large animals and was reignited during her three years working at an animal shelter. The ability to make dogs look and feel their best is what drew her into grooming, as it provides a sense of fulfillment she had never experienced in the pet industry before. While she doesn’t have a favorite breed to groom yet, she enjoys working with all dogs.

At home, Chelsea cares for five dogs: Rehalynn, a pit mix; Bambi, a smooth fox terrier; Brett, a boxer Chihuahua mix; Sage, a boxer, great dane and St. Bernard mix; and Roxanne, a cocker spaniel and pit bull mix. In her free time, she enjoys taking them swimming, playing fetch at the park, or going for walks down her dirt road.

Known as the “dog whisperer,” Chelsea prides herself on her ability to calm and comfort dogs during grooming sessions. She believes that every dog deserves to feel safe and comfortable, especially in unfamiliar environments, and she treats each one as if they were her own.

One thing Chelsea wishes every client knew is that grooming a dog is very different from cutting human hair. While humans can sit still and understand instructions, dogs require patience and care, as they can’t always be expected to do the same.
