I've been going to Smoochie Pooch for over 3 years now! I originally started off in the Crown Point location but moved to Schererville about a year ago since Lily's favorite groomer Bekah moved out there. They offer a pampered pet special for a bath every 2 weeks and a haircut alternating which has really helped my dogs allergies! Bekah is amazing and always leaving Lily smelling and looking pretty. I have never once been disappointed with the services she has provided- she is the BEST!

Samantha started grooming in 2008. She loves grooming because it gives her a chance to make every pet feel and look its best! Watching the pets transform before her eyes is extremely rewarding. She believes every pet should be treated with the utmost respect and compassion, which is what makes her an amazing groomer. Connecting with the dogs and gaining their trust is also very special to Samantha. She loves what she does and enjoys coming to work every day. Samantha was drawn to Smoochie Pooch because she views us as leaders in groomer development and values the focus we place on continuing education. She is currently certified in AKC S.A.F.E., is a certified Canine Esthetician, and has canine massage certifications. While not at work, you’ll find Samantha hiking with family, taking road trips, playing softball or loving on her Bichon (Benny) and her cats (Arlo and Poppy)

Taylor Langford

Taylor has been grooming since 2018. She has always had a love for animals so naturally she found herself at a vet clinic for her first “official” job. She started at a young age and was there several years before a groomer started there, igniting her passion for grooming. Taylor enjoys taking photos of everything, but truly enjoys spending quality time with her children and being outdoors. She has a Boxer named Buddy and a Doberman named Apollo. Taylor’s favorite thing about grooming is getting to know her furry clients and their owners. She loves being able to build relationships while bonding with all the pets! She also loves watching the dogs grow up!

Sydne Fritz

Sydne has been grooming since 2020. She wanted to work at Smoochie Pooch because she had heard about how nice and caring the staff was. She is interested in furthering her grooming career and wanted to surround herself with people who she could look up to and who would be able to help her accomplish her goals.

Her love of dogs is why she wanted to become a groomer. After seeing how her two golden retrievers were poorly treated at a pet salon she wanted be a part of creating an kind environment that was positive for dogs and their owners.

Outside of work Sydne spends a lot of time with her own dog going to different walking trails and exploring. She currently has four pets, a pitbull named Kujo, a golden retriever named Maggy, and two cats names Binx and Mika.

Her favorite part about grooming is seeing how big of a change just a groom can do for the pet and the owner. She loves seeing how happy it makes them!

Jillian Campbell

Pet Stylist

Jillian has been grooming since January 2021. Her love of creativity combine with a college degree in pre-veterinary medicine put her on the path of wanting to become a pet groomer. She has always loved animals since she was a child and desired to work with them in some way.

Jillian’s hobbies include painting, drawing, and going to the gym. But she is normally studying 24/7. She loves to go out and shop as well as spending time with her family and friends.

Currently, she does not own any pets as her beloved redbone coonhound named Cooper passed away.

She is Fear Free Certified and has attended the Paragon’s Pet Grooming School where she earned her Pet Stylist and Groomer Certificate. She is passionate about continuing her education in this industry by going to various seminars.

Elyse has been in the pet health and wellness industry since 2017 but has been an animal lover her whole life. She is passionate about researching and finding the best products and natural solutions to issues pets deal with to be able to better the lives of the pets and their people. She values having extensive knowledge in cat and dog nutrition because it is an amazing feeling to be able to add years to our beloved pets! Elyse has many pets, including three Border Collies, a Shih Tzu and multiple cats. When not at work, you’ll find her spending time with her family outdoors and playing with her many animals.
