Shed Relief System – Before and after $18-36

Our Shed Relief System boosts the health of the skin and coat while reducing shedding and allergens by 60-80%. This process includes a tailored 3 step bathing process to aid in this. This process alone takes 30-45 mins to help remove the dead undercoat. Your pet is then hand dried while brushing to remove more coat. After your pet is dried, we use various grooming tools, again to help remove up to 80% of the shedding. Your pet will shed more significantly after the deshed as we have loosened the hair follicles. Shedding will subside in 24-48 hours.

Skin Repair Therapy - Pricing Varies by breed.

Do you have a dog in your life with chronic “allergies” — dry, itchy, flaky, crusty or inflamed skin? Has medical treatment by a vet been expensive and ineffective so far? Chances are good that your dog can benefit from an exciting new approach to canine skin and coat care.

Pet professionals from around the country are becoming Certified Pet Aestheticians (CPAe) — trained in the art of restorative skin and hair care at Animal Health Services of Cave Creek. The skin repair therapies designed by the CPAe’s at Smoochie Pooch are in no way designed to function in a vacuum without proper veterinary care. They are in fact a complementary offering—designed to work in partnership with veterinary care and diagnosis. Program leader, Dr. Faver, DVM explains, “By understanding and using the science of skin and hair we can not only prevent many problems, we can actually heal them when things go wrong. Many caregivers are totally frustrated with the typical treatments being used because they don’t solve the conditions they are dealing with and the animal is suffering. Learn the science, use the techniques we teach, use Iv San Bernard products, and you will see results you never expected to be possible! Our goal is to help as many animals as possible by preventing suffering through our program.”

Ozone Therapy in Fort Wayne

Hydro-Massage Ozone Spa - Pricing: Varies by breed

Smoochie Pooch is pleased to announce that we now offer state-of-the-art Hydro-Massage Ozone Spa skin therapies for pets. This technologically advanced pet skin therapy is more than just oxygenated bubbles but an actual skin therapy machine that generates ozone to treat skin conditions traditional micro-bubblers cannot.

What is Ozone?

Ozone (O3) is the oxygen molecule (O2) with an additional oxygen atom. Ozone occurs naturally when ultra-violet rays from the sun react with the oxygen molecules (O2) in the Earth’s upper atmosphere (making the protective ozone layer) or through an electrical discharge, such as lightening. It can also be created artificially with an ozone generator. Ozone is a powerful and rapid acting oxidant and will break

down bacteria, mold and yeast spores, organic material and viruses. Additionally, it is a very powerful non-chemical disinfectant. In Europe, ozone is used for many purposes: color removal, taste and odor removal, turbidity reduction, organics removal, micro flocculation, iron and manganese oxidation, and most commonly, bacterial disinfection and viral inactivation. Iv San Bernard has researched, tested and developed a SAFE ozone delivery system for pets.

If you have a dog that sheds a lot it can sometimes be a hassle, but there are many ways to minimize shedding. Regular brushing and grooming can remove excess fur, while a balanced diet helps to keep their coat healthy and reduce shedding. Owners can also invest in a de-shedding tool to help. If you want to leave it to the professionals, Smoochie Pooch also offers these services!

Typically, dogs shed their coats twice a year, usually in the spring and fall. However, different breeds of dogs can shed different amounts. The shedding can be triggered by changes in daylight, temperature, and sometimes physical activity.

It does not matter what time of day you brush your dog’s teeth, as long it is done regularly. Some dogs may be more cooperative at certain times of day, so it is worth experimenting to find a time that works best for you and your dog.

Yes, brushing their teeth can help prevent dental problems such as gum disease and tooth decay. Be sure to use toothpaste formulated for dogs, as human toothpaste can be harmful. Introducing brushing early on is the best way to help your dog become used to regular teeth cleaning and avoid problems in the future.

Ideally, aim to brush your dog’s teeth daily. However, in most cases, even brushing a few times a week can make a significant difference in their oral health. Owners can also invest in treats or toys used to promote dental health.

Skin problems can be caused by a variety of factors, such as allergies or parasites. Regular grooming, a healthy diet, and parasite prevention can help keep your dog’s skin healthy. Make sure to check their skin for any abnormalities regularly.

Owners can control dog odors in a few different ways. Regular bathing, grooming, and washing their bedding and toys are great options. Additionally, owners can use an odor-neutralizing spray to help with the smell. If odors persist or are overwhelming contact us for additional solutions.

This depends on the dog, but largely, the answer is yes! Ozone therapy is a treatment that involves high levels of ozone to break down bacteria, dirt, and viruses. It can support good overall health in dogs.

Ozone therapy can help boost the immune system, reduce inflammation, and improve circulation. Smoochie Pooch offers this new skin therapy to help treat various skin conditions.

Ozone can help neutralize odors in the air, but it is not a cure-all for smelly dog! Regular grooming and cleaning are still necessary to keep your pup smelling fresh. Smoochie Pooch has bathing services that keeps your dog feeling fresh and clean.
