Rachel Schute

Certified Feline Master Groomer & Pet Stylist

Rachel started grooming in 2007 and since then has obtained her Certified Feline Master Groomer title from the National Cat Groomers Institute. With a lifelong affinity for animals, she gravitated towards grooming out of curiosity, seizing every opportunity to expand her skills.

Thriving on challenges, Rachel specializes in handling difficult cases, whether it’s gaining the trust of wary dogs or providing a second chance to those who need it. She continuously seeks innovative approaches to connect with her canine clients, finding fulfillment in the process. Rachel also delights in creative grooming, particularly adding colorful touches to ears and tails.

At home, Rachel has three beloved dogs – Myra, a 13-year-old corgi, Frank, a 3-year-old corgi and Ariel, a 4-year-old red setter- alongside chickens and a mini horse named Joe. Her canine companions keep active through swimming and outdoor play.

She harbors a wish that every client understood the demanding nature of dog grooming. It’s a profession that requires determination and resilience and isn’t for the faint-hearted.

Heather Martinez

Pet Stylist

Heather embarked on her grooming journey in 2023, earning certification from Smoochie Pooch and the Animal Behavior College. Her mission is to groom pets with precision, ensuring their comfort and their owners’ satisfaction, treating each furry friend as if they were her own.

Transitioning from a 20-year teaching career, Heather sought a new challenge that aligned with her passion for animals. While she once aspired to become a veterinarian, she found fulfillment in grooming, particularly enjoying the care of larger breeds, although she has yet to pick a favorite.

At home, Heather cherishes moments with her English springer spaniel, Patton, who adores car rides and indulging in cheese.

If not for grooming, she would likely still be teaching within the school system. She harbors a desire for every customer to understand that grooming is essential for maintaining a pet’s cleanliness, comfort and overall health- while also contributing to a cleaner home environment.

Heather started grooming in 2023 and has received her training certification from Smoochie Pooch and from Animal Behavior College. Her goals are to groom pets well for their comfort and the owner’s enjoyment and to treat each dog as if he or she were her own.
