Certified Feline Master Groomer & Pet Stylist
Rachel began grooming in 2007 and earned her Certified Feline Master Groomer title from the National Cat Groomers Institute. With a lifelong love for animals, she constantly expands her skills in grooming.
Rachel specializes in challenging cases, whether it’s building trust with wary dogs or giving second chances to those in need. She enjoys creative grooming, especially adding colorful touches to ears and tails. Rachel is also PetTech CPR/First Aid Certified, ensuring the highest standard of care for all pets.
At home, Rachel has three dogs—Myra, a 13-year-old corgi; Frank, a 3-year-old corgi; and Ariel, a 4-year-old red setter—along with chickens and a mini horse named Joe. Her dogs stay active with swimming and outdoor play.
Rachel believes dog grooming requires determination and resilience and is not for the faint-hearted—but it’s all worth it for the pets she cares for.
Pet Stylist
Stephanie started grooming in December 2019 and joined Smoochie Pooch in April 2023. She wanted to work for Smoochie Pooch because it was a good opportunity to expand her knowledge and meet more groomers. Stephanie has always loved animals and knew she was bound to work with them someday. She has a Pomeranian/Lhasa mix named Jynx Elizabeth. When she was given a brush and comb for the first time, she found it fascinating. She studied abroad in the Netherlands and was proud to place third in her bathing certification course. Her favorite part of grooming is creating a special bond with the dogs and making them look and feel great! When not at work, you can find Stephanie hanging out with family, watching movies and playing games.
