I have always had great service at the Smoochie Pooch in Crown Point. Caitlyn is an excellent groomer and listener. She has no problem translating what I request into actuality. It is very hard to find someone who can groom Bedlingtons so they look like Bedlingtons and Caitlyn is that person for my boys.
They are always so sweet and explain every thing they are going to do and what it will look like. I always feel comfortable leaving my little furry best friend with them. I would highly recommend and love the toys and treats there too! I have been to the Valpo and recently to the Portage one. They both are amazing:)
This was our second appointment for pet grooming. It was a pleasant experience, the staff was very professional, friendly, and the environment was nice and close to home. The groomer did a great job!
We bring both of our dogs to Heather at Smoochie Pooch she is amazing and does a wonderful job with both of our dogs! Wouldn’t bring them to anyone else!!

I want to say thank you smoothie pooch and your Portage staff. My dog chewy really needed a bath and a cut. We moved from Valparaiso and were in transition from all we been through. Kelly and staff were really awesome. I know my dog was difficult but your professionalism and patience and kindness for animals was are really great experience. Thank you all so very much and keep doing what you are doing. That what makes you great.
I had a place I took my dog but they canceled last minute so I called smoothie pooch and explained my situation and they helped me with an appointment the same day, everyone was friendly and helpful they got a new client thanks
I didn’t need an appointment and grateful for that. I didn’t get my receipt after being told it would be emailed to me. I was told I couldn’t come back to watch my nervous pooch yet saw another dog’s treatment bc the door was left open. My dog was serviced in a room in the back and I pleaded to watch, six feet away of course.
I used the mobile service. My dog took to the groomer right away. The groomer spent a few minutes with the dog so she felt very comfortable with her.. Even after the growing One shape right the dog back into the home, She still spent a few moments With the dog. Excellent service and care for my pet.
Catlin took good care of our fur baby , Sadie, Its hard to find someone to do a grooming on a cat. She did a wonderful job and I will bring my baby in more often now. Sadie smells so good. Thank you so much!! I've been to alot of other groomers in the past, but none like this one EXCELLENT JOB!!
I have 3 large dogs, one is a very skittish German Shephard. Magen is the lady who took care of her and I have never seen anyone gain my shaphards trust as smoothly as she did. She was very patient and calm. All 3 of my dogs came home happy and clean. Great experience will definitely be going back!!!!
My dog is old and not very friendly but the staff didn't let it bother them at all! She came out looking wonderful and in a very good mood! Their experience was evident and much appreciated.

My husband brought our 10 year old Ragdoll cat in to get her lion cut on Friday!!! Amanda was WONDERFUL with our Sashie!! THANK YOU!!! When Sashie came home she didn't run and hide after her cut!! YAY!! She looks ABSOLUTELY GREAT!! We know that she was treated with love..because she has been prancing around the house since Friday...thinking she is a PRINCESS!!! LOL THANK YOU SMOOCHIE POOCH for your FANTASTIC CARE!!! This was our 1st visit...and we DEFINITELY will be back!!
Caitlin at the Crown Point location is awesome! My Lab was losing his hair in big patches, his skin was flaking all over, and he was itching non stop. Caitlin gave him the fountain of youth at 12 years old you would not believe his coat was ever that bad. He's a new dog again, smells great, his coat is beautiful and full, and no more itching. They tailor their treatment to each individual dog for best results. He never liked getting his nails trimmed and was not crazy about baths. He loves going to see Caitlin! Thank you so much for his transformation!
Very friendly, professional team. Took my Aussie 1st time and they did amazing job. Cleaned/trimmed/bathed him. Milo looks amazing. Will go again
This was our second time using Smoochie Pooch for our English Bulldog, Abby. We have been so please with the services and Abby also seems to love it too! The groomer is also so good with Abby! We will be returning to Smoochie Pooch in May - can't wait!
I made an appointment for the very next day after I called. My usual grooming service was booked out until January and I was getting desperate. They had my dog in and out in just two hours! He smelled great, looked super shiny, and his nails looked the best they ever have! I will be bringing my business here in the future.
My adult golden-doodle becomes so excited the minute we pull into the parking lot. He simply can't wait to see everyone and absolutely loves his time at Smoochie Pooch. It has been this way since we started taking him when he was 4 months old!

Allison is just precious, and our little Lacie Mae loves her to pieces! She’s only 10 months old and it is so nice and comforting to be able to leave her with Allison knowing she is in the best hands, will be happy and loved, and enjoy her time there!
My puppy is only 1 year old and Mel treated her extremely well!!! She had a full treatment to include nails and facial. She was as happy when I picked her up as when I dropped her off!! Made my day!! Not to say she looked GREAT when Mel was done with her!!! Thanks Mel!!!
I have had difficulty finding a groomer in the area that listens to my desire to have SoSo retain some of the length of her beautiful coat with a hybrid trim that shortens the face. We found the right groomer today in Dunedin. SoSo was picture perfect and we are very glad to have found Smoochie Pooch. The many photos on the walls of beautifully groomed clients and the very personal vibe at this establishment lets me know that our beloved pet will always be in the best hands for her grooming needs. My fur baby Samson loved Smoochie Pooch. This place has great customer service all the girls are amazing! Megan and Tierra answered all my questions to its entirety. I got my baby a poodle stuffed animal in pink for him to play and he loves it! Lillian is an amazing groomer very detailed and informative! As a toy Poodle she prepped him up for a continental Poodle cut and he looks so handsome and fabulous! Thank you!
Great Poodle ‘doo’! I took my poodle, Charlie, in for a long overdue grooming, only to find he had bunches of mats throughout his fur😳who knew you had to brush them if you kept their hair long?! My bad, I guess it’s obvious…anyway, the groomer did a great job of leaving a nice, albeit short, amount of fur, which she feared she may not have been able to do. Oh, and she was awesome at explaining what this was all about and being patient with my nervous pup. Bottom line? Above average $ for an above average grooming experience for all.
We absolutely love the girls at smoochie Pooch in Roanoke Indiana. Kennedy is our absolute best friend there my girls no where they are going when I say going to see Kennedy today.
