4. Barktoberfest

5. Monumental Mile Doggie Dash
This is a fun-filled race with dogs! The event is in June and ends at University Park in Indianapolis, Indiana. Event benefits Friends of Indy Animals.
6. Huntington Tails & Trails Festival
The dog-friendly 5K and 1 mile are just part of the day’s events held during the Huntington Tails & Trails Festival in Huntington, Indiana in October. Also enjoy the Human and Doggie Costume Contest, spooky scavenger hunt, disc dog and a dog lure chase course!
7. Bow Wow Bash
Held in September, the Bow Wow Bash event includes the infamous Specks Dog Contests, Top Dog/Top Cat Competition, an amazing silent auction, vendor booths, food, a lure course, and the opening of the local splash park for the dogs! Held at Washington Township Park in Avon, Indiana.
